Hello hello people of my blog!! We have a month until we have to present out project in front of an audience. It's gonna be nerve racking but also amazing. I know I'll remember this event until the day I'm put in the ground. I have highly enjoyed working with my partners in crime. I've also wondered what will happen to Project Auxilium after the project date of April 19th. Hopefully we'll leave a mark in the brains of some of our community members.
Now onto important details about our project. We've picked a date- April 5th- for our yoga get together. It looks like that day will be 51º and mostly sunny. Our school's football field and gym is our destination for the yoga meeting. This event hasn't been confirmed yet for we have just emailed our principal. Hopefully we'll be able to make this happen and have a great time. April is the month that things are going to be happening. We've also emailed Life Savers again to attend the event and get the word out for us. We want this to seem like an official event and not have 3 teenagers standing around awkwardly in a football field. Also we've come up with a great name for this event. Project Auxilium Yoga Hour; PAYH. That's all I have for today! Thank you and have a wonderful rest of your day and week.

Hello hello people of my blog!! Congratulations, we've actually did something this week! Well, planned on doing something. We wanted to contact a club located in our school again, called Life Savers. We want to do a crossover with them. What I mean is that we want to have our yoga meet up on a day that Life Savers meets. Life Savers as well as our group are trying to get the word out and will continue to work towards a common goal. Raising awareness for mental health. We wanted to have the yoga meet up around when our project is due so we can show the fun event on our slides. It'll be on a day with hopefully great sunny weather and if not... we'll have to yoga ourselves inside. Hehe, sorry, couldn't help myself. We then plan to ask for permission from our principal to use an area for yoga. This idea will hopefully develop into an event and we'll have lots of fun. I'm so excited to be working with these two wonderful people. I don't think I could go through my day without their corny jokes or roasts towards me. So thank you for giving me a purpose, an idea, something to work towards. WOW, inspirational. Anyways guys have a great and wonderful rest of the day. I'll keep you updated :)
--Here's our lovely team member Jackie. Look how excited she is... or is it terrifying. Well, the world may never know. Hello hello people of my blog! Sad to say, we haven't done much this week... again. We haven't had much time with other things going on at school and in our lives. Speaking of school, a group in our school called Life Savers is selling warrior sweatshirts and shirts to raise awareness for a suicide prevention program. I believe that I have mentioned them before in previous blogs. They're a very good resource for our group when/if we have any questions about something we would like to talk to you guys about. Also, about our little yoga get together plan, it should be fun... if we get around to getting it put together. :) Anyways today is February 2nd!! Groundhog Day! There are a couple things that make this day great. First of all, there's the excitement to see if we'll have 6 more weeks of winter... which unfortunately according to the shadow Phil saw, we will in fact have more cold weather. Second of all, Groundhog Day the musical!! I'm a big musical geek and I'm not afraid to show it. There are so many great musicals out there that I could go on about for hours, but alas we have no time for that. The final reason this day is pretty great, is because of the Groundhog Day movie starring Bill Murey. He's great. Music and movies are a great way to take your mind off things :) Have a great day none the less and don't forget to practice smiling in the mirror. I'm sure your smile is beautiful.
Hello hello people of my blog! We have some news for you!! We have decided to possibly hold a yoga event at our school. Yoga is good for the mind as well as the body. Letting you connect with your breathing. Also, I must tell you, I had to present my elevator pitch alone because of bad health. I was sick for two days, came back and had to awkwardly get up in front of my classroom and speak about our lovely project here. I knew I was going to stare at a wall... and that's exactly what I did. So that's what I'll be working on in future presentations. Anyways! On to the next topic of conversation!! We have an Instagram and a Twitter being made. Be sure to go follow us at @Projectauxilium. Our Twitter is @Pauxilium. We'll be sure to update the social media as much as we can. Given the fact that we're teenagers and spend most of our time on social media checking stuff out. We're also working on finding hashtags and @'s for posts on our social media to get the word out there. I hope everything works out for I've been having a good time trying to help people out. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!! Bye bye!!
Hello hello people of my blog! I hope you had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! If not, hopefully 2018 will turn things around for you :) Speaking of the new year, did any of you make a new year's resolution? I know I really didn't until in class today we were told to think about where we wanted to go with our project. Soooooo, there was that. So while completing my other assignments, I got to thinking. Where do I want to go with project help?
Hello hello people of my blog! I'm here with a very small update, this being a very dreary sleepy day. I may be wanting sleep, but I'm needing to work on this project. We made a pitch keynote and presented it in front of the class. While we were presenting the class had to write down things that they thought would help us out. You know, hints and comments about our project. They helped out a lot :)!!
This week we plan on discussing a goal in our project for this wonderful month of December. We would like to plan out our first fundraiser! Yay! I know all of you are so excited, thinking to yourselves 'Are they actually going to get something done?' Well we're trying to :). Hopefully things will work out and we'll be able to set an agenda for our fundraisers. We'll be working hard to help out as much as you can and remember everyone, we're here to raise awareness, and we do have helpful sites listed on the home page if you need them. They'll be more helpful than us. Hopefully you like this picture of our group working hard, or was it hardly working? :) Have a good rest of the day and remember to share some good words with someone, maybe meet a stranger and say something nice to them. It's always good practice to say something nice to someone so that you'll be able to say something nice about yourself :) Bye bye! Hello and good day everyone! It's me Jill, our team has been trying to contact groups in our school such as 'Life Savers' and 'ENCO', helping groups that are in our school. Life Savers is a group of students and teachers that involve themselves in knowing what to do when someone is in a time of need or when someone is considering taking their lives. If you are at that point in time where you feel the need to take your life, please look at the websites and we have hotlines that you can call. We wish to help you in any way we can. ENCO however is a community outreach. We hope by contacting them we can raise awareness for mental health in our community. Alas that is basically all we did this week. We plan to get together over the weekend and plan more things that can help, such as an event for raising awareness. We hope this will help people realize that when someone tells them that they're fine, they could really be crying, and lying on the inside. Sorry, I wrote a song for this group and I hope to share it one day with you all. Thank you and good day to you, I hope to see you next week with some more updates and helpful things that we're planning.
We're here! On week three! WOOOOOOOOO! I'm so excited! I hope your life is going as good as mine! I made a logo and I feel really good about it. Don't you? If you like it, then great! I'm really happy I'm getting things done for this project. I also made someone whom was in a pretty bad mood feel good about themselves with a smile! Making progress here! Not really, but hey! I'm trying :) Anyways, we plan to use this on a tee, or sweatshirt. I know it's not the best design, but I hope it will grow into something more. I really hope I'm doing something good in someone's life, because that's what this project is all about. Helping those whom need to be helped. Next week I plan to work hard with my team to make some progress and trying to come up with some good ideas to further this project.
Hello again everyone! Sadly we've not gotten much further than last post. We've had loads pushed on us with paper's we've got to write and things that we're trying to do for you. I however have made a design for a tee-shirt that might be out soon. It has our logo on it and will be a baseball tee design. It will be finished soon enough, we hope. We hope to continue working on how to get help for people because we know that sometimes, a hug and someone there for you is all you need. I wish to help as many people as I can, including myself. Hopefully this will help me to continue awareness for mental health and help me in the future to help people I love. I want to continue to help people. I want to continue to raise awareness for mental health. We plan to have an event in May if we are able. It hopefully will help people realize how to help people. How everyone deserves a second chance. Have a wonderful rest of a day and I hope to continue to help.
Hello and welcome to my first blog post! I welcome you to my humble abode where I'll be talking about things and places that can help with things. I'm just a highschool student that thinks she can have deep conversations about depression. Well turns out I've not yet got my medical degree so we're not going to get into that type of thing. But there is something that I can do, which is tell you about things and places that will help you more than I can. I work with 2 other people that are also great people. We've been friends for a while and we all have something in common. We've had to deal with depression in our lives, whether it be with family members or ourselves. Depression isn't something to joke about, but I sometimes try to joke around to make people feel better. I apologize in advance. Anyways, our group of three high school students will try and help with depression, anxiety, PTSD, feeding disorders, or people who are just feeling blue. We'll try to tell you where to go for more help, try and give you more options than giving up and keeping to yourself. We'll also have a moment where we have "stories" of when we've felt with depression in our lives, but depression isn't some disease, it's something much deeper than that... it's something that a few high school girl's won't be able to stop. This doesn't mean that we can't help those few who stumble across our blog and find the light in their dark world. We want to raise awareness for those who aren't aware. We want to give those who are in the dark, the flashlight they've been desperately needing. We want to give them the love that they deserve, because sometimes... someone to talk to is all you need. We want to help. That's why my group of friends created Project Auxilium, to help. To let you know, that there ARE people willing to give you a chance to explain yourself. Give you that chance at the life you deserve. Thank you, and have a great rest of the day/night.
