Hello and welcome to my first blog post! I welcome you to my humble abode where I'll be talking about things and places that can help with things. I'm just a highschool student that thinks she can have deep conversations about depression. Well turns out I've not yet got my medical degree so we're not going to get into that type of thing. But there is something that I can do, which is tell you about things and places that will help you more than I can. I work with 2 other people that are also great people. We've been friends for a while and we all have something in common. We've had to deal with depression in our lives, whether it be with family members or ourselves. Depression isn't something to joke about, but I sometimes try to joke around to make people feel better. I apologize in advance. Anyways, our group of three high school students will try and help with depression, anxiety, PTSD, feeding disorders, or people who are just feeling blue. We'll try to tell you where to go for more help, try and give you more options than giving up and keeping to yourself. We'll also have a moment where we have "stories" of when we've felt with depression in our lives, but depression isn't some disease, it's something much deeper than that... it's something that a few high school girl's won't be able to stop. This doesn't mean that we can't help those few who stumble across our blog and find the light in their dark world. We want to raise awareness for those who aren't aware. We want to give those who are in the dark, the flashlight they've been desperately needing. We want to give them the love that they deserve, because sometimes... someone to talk to is all you need. We want to help. That's why my group of friends created Project Auxilium, to help. To let you know, that there ARE people willing to give you a chance to explain yourself. Give you that chance at the life you deserve. Thank you, and have a great rest of the day/night.
